Chief Curator and Director of Curatorial Affairs
The Yale Center for British Art (YCBA) seeks a distinguished curator, strategic thinker, and collaborative leader as Chief Curator and Director of Curatorial Affairs (Chief Curator).
Chief of Staff and Strategy
Reporting to the Paul Mellon Director of the YCBA, this role serves as a key advisor and strategic partner, responsible for executing the Director’s vision, managing high-level projects, and overseeing critical functions within the Director’s Office.
Director of Finance and Administration
Reporting jointly to the Paul Mellon Director of the Yale Center for British Art and to Yale’s Senior Director of Finance & Administration for Collections and Scholarly Communication, the Director of Finance and Administration provides leadership and oversight to the museum’s financial, administrative, and operational functions.
Head of Design
Reporting to the Director of Public Engagement, the Head of Design develops and leads the visual identity of the Yale Center for British Art (YCBA), across all platforms, including building signage, exhibition graphics, publications, promotional materials, and digital assets.
Graduate Museum Fellowships for Yale Graduate Students
These fellowships are open to graduate students at Yale to enhance the educational experiences provided by academic coursework and teaching assistantships at the university, allowing students to extend their range of academic specializations and expertise, and to augment research skills by direct contact with objects in the collections.

The YCBA, supported by the generosity of Nancy Horton Bartels and her late husband, Henry E. Bartels, is pleased to offer academic-year and summer internships to Yale undergraduates and summer internships for HBCU undergraduates from New Haven County.
